Feel free to explore our new Blog charting the restoration of our 19th Century granite quarry workers’ cottage built in the historic town of Mountsorrel in the rural English county of Leicestershire.

Nestled into the side of Castle Hill itself, the cottage was likely built on a small part of the grounds of the long demolished medieval castle, so the site along with the nearby town is bursting with extraordinary history!
